I have a silverstone Sugo SG13. I'm just upgrading my current PC. Swapping the 6600k for the 7700k and the shuriken. Thanks man!

Awesome build dude! I have the same motherboard and ram as you (Z170i pro gaming + Corsair Vengeance LPX). I am planning on buying the Shuriken cooler as well. Did you have any issues with ram clearance or any other type of clearance? It looks like everything fit from the pictures! Thanks :)

Hey man, what did you use to cut the metal on the cooler? I have the same motherboard and cooler and just let the cooler make slight contact with the WiFi I/o port. My load temps are usually around 53 degrees on the 6600k.

Great build man. I have the same case and was looking at the EVGA ACX 3.0 1070. How are your temps for both GPU and CPU?

Yes, it is making full contact with the heat spreader. If it weren't making good contact, then my thermals would likely be much higher.

There is slight contact being made with the wifi module but it seems to be working fine as it is

Great build mate! With the fan curve you set, how loud is your system both during idle and gaming?

Thank you! It's a fairly compact case and doesn't weigh much. I plan to carry it in a small duffle bag and don't see a problem doing so. It shouldn't be hard carrying it in a backpack. You could always look at the case dimensions online and see if it'll fit in your backpack.

Thanks so much dude! I appreciate the feedback. I use a program called MSI Afterburner. It's a free program and it works great. Another popular one is EVGA Precision.

This was my first mechanical keyboard and I love it! I opted for cherry MX brown switches and so far, they've been great. Every time I push down a key, I get a satisfying feel. It's great for gaming and typing. It feels much nicer than my previous membrane keyboard. I also like that the keys are not too "clicky"/loud especially compared to cherry MX blue switches. I wanted a well built keyboard without much of the added fluff for a reasonable price and that's what I got :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, this PSU set-up definitely helps! I basically have a straight flow of air from the front of the case to the back. My front fan acts as an intake fan which brings air to the heatsink. From there, heat travels up the heatsink into the PSU and out the back. I had to flip the fan on the heatsink so that it shoots air up into the PSU (Look at FAQ 5 to see what I mean http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/axp-100_muscle.html?panel=2) This technique was suggested to me on a forums!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the reply!! I plan on getting the EVGA 970 SC blower card (04G-P4-1972-KR) since I can't get the Titan looking 970 cooler here in Canada (I know bestbuy has it in the US).

Awesome build man! What kind of load temps does your EVGA 970 get? I'm trying to decide between getting a blower style 970 or an open air ACX 2.0 970 like yours. I hope you're enjoying it :)

Awesome build man! What are your CPU temps like? I'm planning on getting the same CPU and cooler. Also, did you have any issues with RAM clearance with this cooler?

Hey man! Awesome system. I am planning on building a similar rig with the SG13 and a 980. How does your 980 perform and what is the heat/temp like in such a small case? Is a blower style 980 better than the ACX 2.0 for this case?

Great build man! Just a quick question. By using the SFX PSU, can you fit a taller CPU cooler? I know that the cooler height limit is 61 mm with an ATX PSU. However, with the silverstone SFX PSU which is 63.5 mm in height, do you gain more height since an ATX PSU is 86 mm in height. In theory, do you gain 23 mm, thus letting me fit taller coolers? Thanks :D

So, you are correct in that there is a 61 mm limit. However, this limit is for ATX power supplies. I am going to be using a silverstone SFX power supply which will give me an additional 23 mm of height in which case, the cooler should fit.

Hey man! Great build. It looks wonderful. I am planning on building a mini-itx system with a 6600k and Phanteks PH-TC12LS (like yourself). However, I am using an even smaller case, the silverstone Sugo sg13. I do not plan to overclock the CPU. How are your temps in gaming and regular use? Also, did you have any issues with ram clearance? I am going to use corsair vengeance low profile DDR4 ram. Thanks, and enjoy!

Awesome system mate! I'm thinking of getting a 390X and the exact same 1440p monitor. How are you liking the Acer monitor and how is the 390x holding up at 1440p? Your benches above look great! I hope you're enjoying the setup :D

The cards have already been reviewed and benchmarked by different guys. The Gtx 770 trades blows with the the 280x, and is more expensive (like $100 difference in Canada) than the 280x. The 280x also has 3GB vs. 2GB memory. Although you could get a 4GB 770, those are a lot more. Don't get me wrong, Nvidia cards are awesome but for price to performance the 280x is a better deal.
