That does sound sexy, can you recommend anything? Thank you good sir !
Ha, yes thank you. And I couldn't agree more, ultrawide is life.
I use it for gaming and compiling large blocks of code in apps such as blender and unreal engine. This build can handle heavy triple A titles such as the Witcher 3 (AT 1080p resolution) which is probably the heaviest game out there and I get 60+ fps at high settings. Any other triple A title, like GTA 5, get 60+ fps on high-ultra settings. I also play eSports titles like League of Legends where I get 200+ fps, which is insane. Would definitely recommend this build for strictly gaming use. But you should definitely look into Intel's Coffee Lake. If you're on a budget, go with a ryzen 5 1600 instead of this intel i5.
About the graphics card, it really depends on the resolution you want to play on. If you're using a 1080p screen go with a gtx1060 6gb (not the 3gb). This card is more than enough to give you 60+fps at high-ultra settings. If you're using a 1440p screen then definitely go with a 1070, and 4k, go with 1080 or better. I think that's the general rule for picking a graphics card.
kk thanks. clean build
does this board have the leds behind?
You really shouldn't spend more on your motherboard than on your cpu. X370 chipset is overkill for this build since you're not going to do any sli/crossfire. I would've gone with a B350 chipset board and saved money to get a better graphics card, at least a gtx 1060. Good job on the build though
I keep seeing this wallpaper, can I get a link? Nice work.
Quick question, does the B250F mobo automatically amp up your memory sticks to 3000 or is the ram clock speed locked at 2400? From my knowledge, you cannot overclock your ram manually using this board.
Great build by the way, just needs a z270 chipset board and an unlocked processor.
