Go with this parts list instead for better performance.
Get a cheaper cpu cooler, a cheaper case, cheaper ram and a cheaper power supply. You don't need all that rgb
Then I think you'll be pleased.
Yes it does fine
I would be too
There’s a difference, but it won’t be noticible. Get the EVGA
That iron man is so cool! Your build looks amazing
Thanks, I’ll check it out
It’s great, and handles all my games with no problem
G sync prevents screen tearing, and makes it look nice. If your frame rates don’t match your monitors refresh rate usually then you can really see a difference, but otherwise it’s not really worth it unless you just have the money.
Don’t be scared. I just built my first pc, and it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. You got this :D
Real good! Nice parts list
An rtx 2070 would work, but a 2080 if you can afford it
Depends. Are you getting a 2k 144hz monitor or what? Also what are you using it for?
I haven't had time to use the computer yet. I'm in Florida right now for soccer.
I'm getting a similar build to this one. Can you tell me what kind of fps you get on the games you play? Also nice job!
Do you need a monitor, windows, mouse, ect?
Turn down some graphics settings a little (or a lot in some games), and you'll get 144fps at 2k resolution. You could probably spend less on that cpu cooler unless your doing some major over clocking or just like the looks. Other than that, not a bad parts list.
Whoops, I thought you had a 1080p 60hz monitor which even a 1070ti is overkill at, but the 2070 is definitely worth it at 144hz.
I know that a persons opinion on these forums is no different than peoples answers on other forums. This is just the only one I use. I typically ask tech questions I have on here before I research the topic much. I do this because I find many answers that people give on here are very informative. I guess this is kinda lazy of me, and I should start doing a little research before I ask questions. That way I don't ask questions like this one that could be answered with a little googling. Thanks for your time and advice
I've googled it, but I there are so many different things, that I don't know what to use. There seems to be a million different ways to do it, but I'm looking for the best option. I looked up what a video capture card is, but it seems like it's just for streaming. I also don't know how much it affects gameplay because different people say different things. I was just looking to see what someone on here would say
It's way overkill for 1080p. Get a 1070ti instead.
I'm starting out with 500gb until I can afford a hard drive. Thanks for the advice
Thanks a lot
I agree with you. Thanks
The reason I wanted to go with intel is because it's the most reliable in my opinion, and I've been told it's best. Also your build is the cheapest like you said and you seem very knowledgeable, so I might go with your build. Thanks
I don't plan on overclocking, and that RAM looks kinda funky. Thanks anyway though
Thank that was very helpful
Do I need the extra fans or will temps be fine without. Also Thank you a lot!!!
Thank you! I like this parts list a lot
And yes, I have a Gsync monitor already
I'm not going to overclock
Gsync, and a standard ATX size. USA
Thanks! I already have an xbox controller, so I'll probably try that game :D
It's a reliable and cheap cpu, amd motherboard so it's compatible, 8gb is definitely enough for what your doing, ssd for fast boot up times, 1TB is more than enough space for most people, nice case, and the power supply is more than enough.
That's what I was thinking about doing. Is there much of a difference between the 1070 and the 1070 ti?
What's your budget?
You don't have a case, and I would get a bigger ssd. Also you can get rgb ram for the same price like: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/gmWfrH/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3000-memory-cmw16gx4m2d3000c16
Is m.2 the speed of the ssd?
What monitor do you have?
The price of the ram is the same, so all you did is up the price. Thanks anyways :)
