Hoping to have it live by the end of the day
When you search for your 8GB of ram you can select the amount of DIMMS you would like to purchase. By default, if you do not select any filters it will show both 1x8GB and 2x4GB. From there you can simply filter by price and it will show you where the best deals are.
All set. Give it a few hours to populate.
You can add those parts via the custom parts button. You can also try using the search bar for parts without pricing or check the "show parts without price data" box for older parts that are disco and no longer sold.
Mind linking it? I did a quick search and couldn't find it.
looks like this one slipped through. All are added now.
got it, thanks
We don't really want to encourage that kind of thing either. It would likely promote more fake/troll builds.
This topic has been moved from "General > Site Feedback And Feature Requests" to "General > Request Part Additions Here".
Check ebay, thats where I got mine. I think it was 50 shipped.
I will add them to our retailer to do list. Not all sites allow us to list their pricing but we will certainly take a look.
roccat kone + allows you to choose LEDs. you should be able to find it used under 55
fixed. please use the respond button to make sure I get the notification in the future.
Make sure you have all your windows updates. What games are crashing?
We should have it the day of release.
We had an issue with people creating multiple accounts to downvote specific users. They are no longer an issue.
My guess is you got screwed over when the big group of downvoters were around. We currently don't show negative karma.
Check our youtube channel for build guides. I would suggest posting a budget in here and doing some research on individual parts.
Please do not post fake builds
You only get points when people upvote you and not a gain for simply posting a comment. You have a ridiculous amount of comments though and 0 is quite odd. I will look into it.
Affiliate links. By clicking through the links to the parts and then making a purchase the retailers give us a small cut of the sale.
I generally suggest 100w clearance. We put quite a bit of work into the power calculator.
Unfortunately we have tried implementing user added parts in the past and the results were pretty abysmal. We had a huge percentage that couldn't even link the correct mfgr part number with a retailer. When custom parts are added they are tossed into a list on our end that we occasionally browse through and filter into the DB with a human check (me) before they go live.
If you have an item that isn't on the site your best course of action is to simply post it over in the part additions forum with a link to a retailer.
Did you try AMP? Make sure you click reply so I can see your response.
Look for pricing in the next few hours
Best guess puts it at the beginning of next week. For the time being, I suggest using custom parts on your build.
In your bios you do not manually set it to 1600. Look for a RAM profile section and choose XMP.
We are in the process of adding A88X but want to make sure everything is perfect in the compatibility filter before pushing it live.
I don't believe this is currently possible with the way we have it set up but I will see if this is something we can implement.
I will look into it and see why we have left this out.
We do not currently list these types of parts.
Top left portion of your system build page. "Have you built this configuration? Show off your work!" Click the link in there to add your pictures and description of the build.
I think he is just asking about SEO in general. He just posted 4 or 5 threads about random net topics.
We do not currently list watercooling parts and by extension do not list the Hydro Copper series to avoid issues with users accidentally purchasing a card they cannot use in their system. Sorry
Umm... 4.2 isn't really that high on stock cooling. Will it be hot? Sure. Definitely not unreasonable though.
nothing. no worries. enjoy your build.
If you don't have 100+ into your headphones its unlikely you will notice any difference between onboard audio and a soundcard.
added. look for pricing in a few hours http://pcpartpicker.com/part/benq-monitor-xl2411t
Click the arrow next to the retailer and select "manually enter price." That will allow you to mark as purchased.
If you have specific parts you would like to see added please link them in the parts addition forum. I constantly monitor that thread and do my best to get new parts in as soon as possible. Speakers are currently a work in progress and I will see what we can do about DAC/Amps.
What? The response rate is higher (numerically) for IPS than TN simply based on the type of panel.
They have few if any AAA or mainstream games. Having a handful of old valve games does not make them relevant unfortunately.
Linux is great if you just a generic pc user. If you need any workstation apps or games you are SOL. Sure you can get some things working through WINE but it is generally more hassle than it is worth.
Just a quick note, you can get Win8 for 90 dollars not 160.
Linux is great for use as a media center or server should you go that route.
IPS - Much better colors, slightly higher response rate, better viewing angle, cost more
TN - Colors arent nearly as accurate, very narrow viewing angle, cost less and have lower response rate
