if you search youtube, you will see that their are still a ton of people rocking these first gen i7 processors. I agree that a new gpu would bring the rig up to speed.

Yeah i used a hard drive with linux on it and it was pretty snappy so I tried w10 and it was still pretty snappy

For 60 you could get a gtx 960, pretty easily, a gtx 750ti, if you watch closely you could score an rx 470 or 1050ti

Thank you! I try to be upfront with the path of the pcs i build. Pcs in this sub 200 price range i usually have a 600 series card to get them going and keep my prices low, as well as they will come back in a year or so for an upgrade!

this is the kind of build I love to see. As mentioned, a cheap GPU upgrade and you could sell the rig for a few hundred bucks.
