Sorry for late reply, I used the stock cables that came with my power supply to get a good idea of the cable lengths I needed.

Well I think so. I'm sure it's about the same performance as the other AIO coolers, but it looks a lot better in my opinion.

Yes, the 1080ti. It is a tight fit, but once you angle it just right, it goes right in.

As far as the paint, it is Rust-Oleum 248905 Automotive 12-Ounce High Heat 2000 Degree Spray Paint, Flat Orange. I got it from Amazon (about $6). Oh and I used a white primer first after I taped everything off. Cheers!

It is a little glitchy, but worked pretty well for me. I only had the system running for about 2 days. I will know more after Christmas once it is running all the time.

Thanks. Not sure what you mean, but I didn't have any issues with slotting the gpu into place with the gaming 7 motherboard.

I have the 280mm Kraken in the front. This newer one is supposed to have a more efficient and quieter pump, redesigned fans and radiator. The best way to know if it is the newer design is to look for nylon sleeving on the hoses going from the radiator to the pump.

This is the one I got https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-x62 They are 10% off right now with code BFKRAKEN, so you can get one for $144. Good luck.

Thanks! Yeah, I really wanted the 850 evo 4TB, but I will wait a couple of years until the price gets more reasonable. 3TB should be enough for his current steam collection, lol. Don't think I will ever use another HDD.

Thanks! I really didn't see any need for NVMe drives just for gaming. Boot times are just as fast and gaming is just as fast, so why spend more money on it. Hopefully, the 4TB 850 evo will be less than $400 in a year or two and I will pick up one more SSD. Yeah, that hero board is nice!

Oh, I see! I didn't even know gigabyte made a case. It looks a whole lot like the S340 elite, so the build should be very similar. Nice that it has the type-c on front panel. You can probably also control most of your lighting really easily if you go with the aorus motherboard and gpu.

Love the case and yes, the nzxt cable clips on the back are included and they are great for cable management. I don't know of many cases offering type-c up front just yet, but they may be out there. Here is a great video on building in the S340 elite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBHRDuUHe4s

As far as the GPU, another good thing about the aorus extreme is that it has a front facing hdmi port to allow easy connection to the front panel hdmi on the S340 elite case for cleaner VR headset setup. You can see the hdmi cable coming out of the GPU in picture #3 above.

Yes, you should be able to use the waterforce no problem, (and I was thinking about going this route) but you may have to get creative on how you route your hoses. I think the smallest Kraken is 140mm, so you would have to put the radiator for your GPU in the top of the case because the rear fan is only a 120mm. The waterforce also has the front facing hdmi port.

Kraken has been great during testing. Everything is shut down and put away right now, so not sure long term. I think the complaints are heard much more than the praises on forums for obvious reasons. Good luck!

Not sure exactly what you mean, but I did have to angle the bracket up as much as I could before tightening the case screws down because the weight of the card will push it down past parallel if you don't. If you do that, then yes it works perfectly in my opinion.

True, but I was trying to get the build wrapped up while I was off work during Thanksgiving week and hiding it from my son. I have seen some awesome custom water builds in this case.

Also, builds like your Licensed Driver gave me ideas for the way I set up the custom cables, so thanks again!
