Some quality cable management!
Is that a HDMI cable inside the back?
The cooler and the fans are great. My current fan setup runs at 900 rpm constant. 5 ghz with 1.345~vcore. Liquid temperature goes from 27 to 47 depending on ambient(which is about 25ish) So far below permiation point. Pumpspeeds don't matter at all it seems to me. And the original fans never really need to run over 40%. Installation is also pretty straight forward. Top exhaust fans will be in the way of the tubes depending on how you mount the rad. Stock thermal paste also performed pretty good.
Superb build. You might want to change your ram layout though to take advantage of dual channel. Should bring you some more performance
Thank you! So far everything is running great. I have no comparison board but 5ghz was no problem. 5.1 just gets too hot on the chip. The VRM on one of the asus matx would probably be better but for an i5 this is fine. Keep in mind that the RGB controller is limited to 7 colours and nearly no effects. No rainbow if you're into that.
Nice build. might want to turn the power supply around though.
White is hard to match on rgb components. I tried and just had every component in a different shade
I personally like the dark tint more. But it depends. Maybe you want to see everything if you have a very nice motherboard and cable management. It depends on how you highlight stuff. I had a small form factor gpu that i didnt want to swap. Its not that visible with the tint but looks stupid in a clear case.
Its all pretty much the same. The front lit up with 3 fans is quite satisfactory with its mesh. The LL fans will give that pattern even more character
Hello. I was about to get the LL series fans but didnt feel like paying for 6 of them so i went with enermax fans. As you said, the glass is very dimm and doesnt show much else than the LEDs themselfs. I dont really know a lot about the LL fans alot but they should spill more light in your case than the enermax fans will. I for example also took one rgb strip in the front and top to give all components some light since its just so dark
Hi i have the same fans and couldnt help but notice you installed them as exhaust fans in the front. Just for looks or are you running the fans on opposite? If you didnt notice that might help with cooling. If all your fans are on exhaust youll probably have a very dusty system after a while since it will pull air from anywhere. mostly the back. Also of course the cooling will almost always work better with positive airpressure
Hey, nice build. have you tested top vs front mounted radiators with this case?
Hey, how did you make two colour zones for the fans? got two controllers?
Edit: looking at your purchase list explains. no need to answer.
Mobo softwares mainly. Nothing for me because the aio and the fans have own controllers. And since the ram is very bright i turn it down slightly to adjust to the aio.
Ive had a look and on first glance it doesnt really look like theres anything in the way of a 360. since its not alot wider than the fans. Looking at the manual though it looks pretty tight. Maybe its just that top part with the fittings that wont fit. Aslong as your not going I9, youll be good with a 280. And if you are, you may aswell go custom loop with dual 280s
YES! Maybe a server power supply thats long and fits:D But i actually still use the hardware so ill stick with it.
Yeah this has more upvotes than my "expensive" build. I guess its the more custom aspect with the cardboard boxes.
Good ol dremel. Love it!
Tell me if you find any silver sfx power supplies:D The mainboard stays where it is only because of the tension between cpu cooler and psu being crammed and taped in place :D
Probably a good idea :D
The case case was trash anyway (literally cut the top open for a 240 rad) and i was bored and kinda could use a second system taking away load while i game. And if i take the thing somewhere its gun be guud.
Did you expext one after seeing the first picture?
For now, will post more with more mods. corsair LL coming
Hi, I had an Asrock M8 series case before that was ITX. Same goes with the mini 1080. And since the power supply is no louder than a lower power ATX one i have i just used that one with its bracket. its as quiet as the case fans on low speed
Thanks! I didn`t know that
