I didn't even realize the 3900x had the same TDP. Its definitely strange, It will be interesting once more stuff on these chips come out and the reason for this is figured out.

Thanks for the reply! I didn't think it would be close to 650w. While we're on the topic of the TDP do you know why the 3800x is 30w higher than the 3700x when it's only a few hundred megahurts difference? (I'm trying to decide which one to go for)

Ive had 3 friends with 8gb of ram that say its annoying and there upgrading to 16gb so I would get two 8gb sticks cuz dual channel does good with ryzen

Ive never even heard of GMMK but now that Im looking into them they look awesome what type of keys would you recommend if I customize my own and I like clicky keys with a nice bump? and Im guessing aura key caps are lights?

looks good but do you have another monitor thats either 4k, 1440p, or more than 60hz? Because you need some thing a little better to get the most out of that beast of a build Also you may want to add a SSD they help with boot times so much
