The price is WAY too high for the extra performance, I personally think all you need is a GTX 970/980/980 Ti, as they are pretty cheap on the used market, at least out here in the Netherlands (~120/~170/~220), which is great for 1080p (970), 1440p (980) and even 4K with the 980 Ti.
