I would recommend: Any Zowie mice (find the right shape and size for you) if you want a reliable, not over the top mouse, with a good sensor, shape and weight. IF you want something a bit more flashy, Logitech G403/G703, G Pro, G305. They come with a nice software, but are a bit heavier. And finally the new Steelseries mice are looking good, but I don't know too much about them. They are pretty expensive and heavy however.
I would recommend any Zowie mice, or the G Pro, G403, G703. Not Razer or G502. The reason I say this is many people find the shape and weight of the G502 and Deathadder to be too large/too heavy. But you can't know until you try them out for yourself.
I'm not sure how much Zowie mice are in CAD, but they are generally $90 AUD. Very good build quality, simple mice mainly designed for fps such as csgo. Just get the right size and shape for you.
FK: Claw/fingertip grip, ambidexterous
ZA: Same as FK but higher in the back, can be used for palm
EC: Right handed, can be used with most grips
The bigger the number the smaller the mouse:
FK2, FK1, FK1+, smallest to largest
ZA13, ZA12, ZA11, smallest to largest
EC2-A/EC2-B, EC1-A/EC1-B, The 'b' is the newer version with a better sensor and slightly different switches.
I would also suggest trying out both mice in store if you can. They are kind of similar mice, so you won't be hugely disadvantaged if you go with one or the other.
I mean, almost everything with mice is personal preference, was just giving my experience :) I guess the main reason I have always preferred Zowie mice is due to the simple yet functional build quality. They aren't over designed, unlike most other 'gaming' products, which come with unnecessary bells and whistles, and it really frustrates me when people buy products because of the way they look. Also, Zowie mice tend to be more designed for FPS games, hence the weight and shape/size (the OP said they were going to play CS)
Sennheiser HD598, Audio Technica AD-700X or AD-900X would be my recommendations. As for mics, if you want a headphone mic, get a modmic. Idk much about desktop mics.
Beautfiul and clean :o is that the Anne Pro keyboard?
Should make a batman themed one and have them next to eachother :D
Now this is what I was looking for. Thanks for all the info, I'll check them out :)
Hmm. They don't really feel like membrane, from what I can tell they are more like Reds.
Romer-Gs are great for me, no tactile bump, and you don't have to bottom them out all the way, which I like because I have large but skinny hands, so I don't really get finger fatigue. They are also pretty quiet, they have that nice mecha switch sound but are not clicky.
Really depends on what you want to use it for. If its for internet browsing and casual gaming, I would say you can go for a bigger mouse. But if you are planning on playing first person shooters and such, a lighter, smaller mouse is much better. The Deathadder is a bit bigger and heavier, where as the g403 is smaller and lighter. I would also look at Zowie mice, as they come at an affordable price, without all the bells and whistles.
Where abouts do you live?
At the moment the parts are fairly evenly matched I would say. But whatever I upgrade, the thing I don't upgrade will be the bottleneck.
Would you ship to Australia?
Are you willing to part out? I'd be interested in the CPU and maybe the GPU, possibly some other things as well e.g. hard drive etc.
Where are you from? If the prices are in USD, $400 is a bit much for a used 1070.
Nice build, awesome description :)
How much you asking, and would you ship to Australia? Really love this case :D
Would you possibly sell just the cpu? I live in Australia and shipping for the whole build would be really expensive.
I would love to, but it would probably be too hard to ship it to Australia :/
What country? Would you consider shipping to Australia?
If you play FPS games more competitively then you aren't worrying about resolution, you are worrying about refresh rate and Frames/s.
How did you manage to get hold of the case? Really awesome looking build, I hope your son appreciates it :)
I would be super interested in the CPU, possibly the gpu as well. Let me know prices.
This is amazing! Awesome to see! Enjoy it :)
I may have found a 4770K for dirt cheap from a mate :o
Ebay is really unreliable, hard to get people to prove the product works etc. thats a shame tho.
I would be really interested in this chip. Unfortunately, I live in Australia, but would you be able to ship to Australia? (I would pay the extra shipping of course. Let me know what you think and what price. Thanks :)
Beautiful clean build :D Wish I could have it.
Just a question, where did you manage to find the 4790K? I have a 4690K and don't want to upgrade without having to lash out on new mobo etc. Nice build :)
Awesome my man :)
Beeaauuuttiful :D Hope it lives up to expectations (which it will :P )
Nice Build :D I have a very similar story to yours, except when I bought I my pc I was under the impression I was going to have to assemble, but the store I bought it from assembled it for me, so I didn't get to build :( But I still did a lot of research much the same as you, and now I really enjoy helping my friends new to pc building research parts and help them build, its pretty fun :)
Pretty nice o_O Just curious, why the 6600K over a 6700/k?
Its an Australian site because I live in Australia so you can see the .au extension on the url. Its in Australian dollars....
How does the 6600k got with the 1080? Nice build :)
For macros, the new K95 platinum has 6, and on the new razer blackwidow v2 you can assign all the function keys to macros (I think). K95 platinum comes in Cherry mx speed and brown, and from what I have heard the speed are very good and quick to type on, game on, and the rgb is nice. the software allows a lot of customizeability. I would say go with the Corsair, looks like it fits your requirements :D https://www.jbhifi.com.au/games-consoles/platforms/gaming-keyboard/corsair-gaming-k95-rgb-platinum-mechanical-gaming-keyboard-cherry-mx-speed/332007/ Thats the model, make sure you choose the right switches for you :P
Nice build :D
Love the custom job on the 1070 FE :D Nice build
its beautiful :D
haha, okey. I Was just thinking, seeming as there aren't many shops you can buy it from as it has gone out of production afaik. I'll look on ebay :D
o.O thats awesome :)
The 4790K, not the Ryzen :P
