Depends on what you want and who you are. If you are a non esports type of player then Go with a 4K 60hz monitor, or if your a esports type of player go with 1440p 144hz. Don’t go 1080p unless you want a 240 Hz monitor for serious esports competition.

Why so much storage? Also any of them. Just find one you like or seems like a good price. Also you should go with two 16 go ram sticks. I’m pretty sure ryzen benefits from dual channel and not quad but I could be wrong.

Well, I kept the cooler, buts it’s you option to keep it or not. You will not see much improvement in temps, so you will really only buy it for the looks. Also went with cheaper white RGB ram. A cheaper board. And a cheaper PSU. You will not even see the PSU in that case. So paying for a white one will be a waste :P

Just changed the ssd to two ssd. Honestly didn’t know what else change since you want looks in your build. But you can drop the cooler. Since the 3700x comes with a decent cooler. Also the PSU is too much but I understand it’s for looks.

Edit* change the OS to a full version (so if you ever want to build an other build you won’t have to spend 99$ again ;) )

If you can and are willing to try, you can probs snag a 580 8gb used for the price of a new 570 or even cheaper. Also with a budget so low going with a hard drive is your best bet. Then just fill the rest of your parts with what @RobertL90 suggested (the second one)

Cause the g502 spec is on sale. Also not much of a difference if I remember. Just the cable is a bit better if I remember correctly. Next the keyboard is an option. A good starter mech keyboard plus cheap but built well. So he won’t spend 100+ on some blues switches and hate on how loud are they.

Well, you have some options

You can go with the “Max” version which should be the same price, but the downside they are not out to my knowledge.

You can go to a store and see if they update the board for you

Lastly, you can bios flash the board with a usb. Though this requires a second computer to do. If this is available you can look up “how to bios flash” and you should see a video by MSI and just follow them.

It’s a bit more work and money, but you get a better chip.

IMO you really messed up in the price to preforming category. You could of went with any 5700 xt for cheaper and still have better to same performance. Also you could of went a with intel 660p for cheaper. Also, no need for a AIO, the 3700 comes with a pretty good cooler. The PSU is overkill, could of went with a 650 watt for about 80 dollars or less.

Also pretty weird choice for the case, since you kinda don’t have any red your build, buts that’s just my opinion btw. Great case though.

I don’t know anything about the monitor.

But in general, if money was not a problem it’s a good build. Just you could of saved money.

No the bios is not a problem since it’s a newer version of the board with update bios to support the new chips.

Now for the monitor, idk tbh, if you want to suffer somewhat smoothness and screen tearing but want higher res then go, but imo if your a more competitive player, than going with the msi is better. It depends on the type of player you are really.
