Just realized this is basically a cheaper version of my system :P https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BuildStore/saved/4NqLD3
Rename it to Ryzen Shine :v
that's a lot of holes :)
Love to see the series of upgrades on this build. From a 660 mid-range build to an SLI i7 X Build. Nicely done!
On second thought, the 1080Ti from Asus might've had clearance issues with the rad.
That's an odd case choice for this price. How come you didn't go for something flashier like a Fractal Design Meshify C? It would've worked with all your parts, and the front rad mount with all mesh would've provided even better airflow. Just wanting to know.
Clean. What desk is that, and how is the cable management? I'm thinking about using the IKEA Malm Desk, but I'd like something more simplistic, with better monitor mount support.
How's the case? Building in the 330 soon, and I believe they're the same frame.
If it can run Fortnite will you buy it? * audible hmmmmm*
Desk setup is super clean, and the PC looks great. +1
Hope you enjoy Windows! (Also if there's any game I'd recommend It'd be Rocket League, I love that game to death. :P)
Loving it! I bought that case recently and will be building my own system soon. Also, Your english is not bad at all. (To be honest it's better than most Americans) +2
Definitely feature-worthy. Looks clean, and ITX gets my brownie points. +1
I have a really good Knock Knock joke, but you have to start it. (In all seriousness, nice build! +1)
I haven't modded any cases yet, but I've watched enough LTT to understand. ;) Good luck on your writing!
Looks great! Loving the DBS Wallpaper. :)
This looks epic! +1 | But where's the I/O shield?
Looks good! Personally I would upgrade to a slightly bigger case to fit the second fan on the inside of the radiator, unless you have fans in the front panel shroud.
Nice! Loving the fan grill on the back. +1
G-Sync is expensive...
Plus most 144Hz monitor manufacturers throw in freesync because it's much easier to implement.
Clean, similar to what I'm planning to build. Is the GPU RGB lit or is it white? +1
Looks good. +1
I have those baskets on your bottom shelf. :P
A good looking build without (a lot of) RGB. +1
Are you cooling your SSD with an EKWB heatsink?
Unless he upgrades his Mobo to an LGAA-2011 socket, there's no reason to switch to Intel. Ryzen 7 1800X is perfectly fine. Sure, the 8700K outperforms in raw speed, (shown here), but the sheer core count makes the load easier on each core, and ends up with similar end results. Plus the fact that he already has a monoblock for the motherboard makes your argument pretty "Intel Fanboy." I will agree that the 7980XE is better than the Ryzen TR 1950X, but the OP doesn't need to change his build because of it. ju S t s A y In'
Sure! :) I actually mounted my GPU on the bottom slot in my first build for better airflow to the CPU, but it wasn't performing up to specs. I asked my friend and he told me to move it to the top slot, and the performance increased almost 2 fold! You have a less performance-oriented/gaming card than me though, so I don't think you'll get 2x better performance. But an improvement nonetheless!
Loving the purple theme you got going on.
Those Fans look awesome! I wouldn't want to deal with proprietary modes though, I like addressable RGB.
Quick Question: Why do you have the GPU Mounted in the bottom PCIe slot? Doesn't that starve it of PCIe lanes? You have a nice ASUS Motherboard, but I usually never see GPUs in the bottom socket because most motherboards it don't have as many PCIe lanes on the bottom slot. Nice build BTW.
How did you paint the GPU? I'm planning on buying an EVGA Hybrid 1070Ti or 1080 and the color doesn't match the rest of my build.
Really any Z-series motherboard from intel should work, I'd opt for an ASUS: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#xcx=0&c=119,128&m=8&sort=price
Do the 120 and 140 RGB fans sync with corsair link / iCUE on the commander pro?
I really don't have the money right now, I'm just looking for something that looks good and i can game on. I'm moving soon, and I'm selling my old ASUS gaming laptop, which has a 1070, but is horribly bottlenecked by the 2.6 GHz 4-thread i7 6700HQ, a PS4, PS3, some old Wii/Wii U/3DS/PS4 games, a Racing wheel, a Razer Diamondback, plus the $600 I already have. This is what I was planning on building soon: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/BuildStore/saved/PdTkTW
The G12 is on the list, but it is listed as NZXT RL-KRG12-B1 Kraken G12 GPU Matte Black.
This is what I have so far. I wish Corsair would release SP140 RGB already...
Holy crap! That looks amazing! Thank you for your suggestion. :)
Planning on building in this case, how does the front panel affect the light from the fans compared to the side panels? Usually pictures aren't enough to tell these things; I prefer description. :)
I love the case. Will have more pictures tomorrow, when the 1060 arrives, and I remove the film on the side panel.
