My CPU performs perfectly well, at pretty cool temps. My friend has an i7 8700k build with a Noctua nh-d15s, also at 4.8ghz, but it runs around 10C hotter than mine. Originally, I was going to go for an i5 8600k, but the 9600k was only £2 more expensive, and yes my budget didn’t really allow for the 8700k.
