By far my favorite case right now. Was there a specific reason you upgraded the motherboard? Just curious because I went the opposite route and swapped my 6700k for a 7700k while keeping the same Asus z170-e mobo.
Looks awesome with the halo rgb lights bouncing off your white components
I got this card reader because it had a usb-c connection as well as three usb 3.0 ports and an SD card reader. My dad recently upgraded his phone to the galaxy s8 and had been using a usb-c to usb-a adapter to transfer files from his phone to his PC.
If you do get this make sure your motherboard has two usb 3.0 connections because I overlooked that and as a result, the two usb 3.0 connections on the case are not functional.
Thank you! He loves it and I see him use it almost every day!
Looks really nice! I love how the Meshify looks, how easy was it to build inside?
Thank you! I love the Meshify C too and will probably be the next case I get!
The rear fan is from my Phanteks Pro M. I wasn't using it and thought it would go perfectly with it.
Thank you! It was a hard choice to be sure.
I just love seeing him talk about what he did in Skyrim and playing with him in Rocket League! It reminds me of when we used to play together on our N64 or PS3.
He even recently expressed some interest in building a desktop and asked me for some advice. He only recently got a job though so he wasn't going to be able to for a while.
I'm hoping the PSU lasts for him. It was in pretty dirty when I opened it up to clean it out, but I'm hoping that cleaning it extended its life a bit.
Looks like you managed to do as best you could with the shorter cables. Still looks great in my opinion!
Is there a reason you got an APU with a GTX 1080? Just curious, and how does it handle the 1080 if you don't mind me asking?
That's a really nice build! I love your desktop wallpaper, any chance you have a link I could download it from?
Almost part for part my dream build, right down to the ram. Very nice build
I agree that the green gives off a matrix vibe, and the red doesn't stick out at all. The tubing for the aio reminds me of when neo first woke up and had to unplug himself.
Nice looking build. How well does that cpu cooler work? I've seen it and like the look but have never seen any info on how it performs.
Sounds like they've had the core 2 for a while and have gradually upgraded around it.
Nicely done! May I suggest rotating the heatsink for you CPU so the air from the case fans can flow through it? It looks like it won't be an issue based on your temps, but for some reason that's bugging me.
I'd give a brand name but it only has Chinese characters.
Yeah, not sure of it's age, but it survived prime95 and the other stress tests I threw at it well enough.
Thank you for reading the post! The Intel combo was far better than similar performing AMD combos.
Thanks for reading the post!
He already had the 750ti, and the combo for the rest was 75$. If you're going for a $600 budget then by all means go new and get an AMD card, but there was a budget, and this was the best performer I could find at the time.
I agree if you're getting new parts AMD is able to get better performance for the dollar, but with used it can be a toss up, and for the price I decided the Intel combo would be better for the single core performance.
Yeah, I figured the bare minimum was better than nothing, and he can upgrade as he likes.
Watching videos may not have shown the hassle of building to the full extent, but it definitely helped your part finding. That's a damn good PC for the price, bravo sir.
Thanks! I plan on keeping the case for a good while. As for the 480, it very nearly got me but I'm planning to transition to 2k gaming in the next year with a system rebuild, and the 1070 just barely beat it out.
That's awesome, thank you!
