from completed build 4K Gaming Light Show

I got this on sale for $589! (Discounted to $629 and a $40 mail-in rebate). The RTX 2080 Supers were already out and I'm assuming Newegg was discounting these to get rid of old stock. Considering I was looking at RTX 2070s and the RTX 2080S is only marginally better at the starting price of $699, this was a great deal! On top of that it is EVGA's hybrid version. I can game for hours and this thing won't hit 60 C. And, it's nice and quiet. Some people complain about coil whine or say it can sound like a refrigerator running. I'll say, it can sound a TAD loud when under load, but I don't notice when I'm gaming. Also, I've never owned a blower style card, which I read sounds like a jet engine under load. I think this is probably the coolest/quietest style card you can get without an aftermarket water cooling solution.

Update: Been playing around with EXVGA X1 Precision overclocking. I was able to get the GPU up to 2085 MHz and Memory up to 2055 MHz. I increased my 3DMark Time Spy ccore by 750 (10240 to 10990)--top 9% of results for my CPU/GPU configuration. Anything more and the benchmark fails to complete. I could probably eek out a little more with faster RAM or higher core CPU. I also bumped up my Fire Strike score by nearly 1K (21982 to 22920, top 18%). I plan to keep the card at stock settings for now, but it's good to know I've got that extra headroom if needed.
