from completed build The Car Battery :)

Very good budget PSU and it can handle slight OC. looks good and has enough power cables to go around and very lite.

I know the VS series has got some flack, but it was the cheapest quality PSU that I could get new. It has plenty of power for this build, runs quiet and had connectors for everything I needed. The only problem I had with it was some rattling noise from the fan in the first couple of days, but it seems to have stopped, hopefully for good.

My power supply was a hard choice. I wanted something cheap, but not something cheap - if you know what I mean? Whilst I could have gone for something at £20, I also didn't want my computer bursting into flames, any of the components getting sick killed, or just power failures in general. Thats why I ended up going with Corsairs VS450. It's cheap, it's mostly reliable, and if anything goes wrong it has an actual warranty. For the first 2 weeks I had an issue with the fan making a horrific noise because it was hitting the metal edges of the PSU shroud. I whacked it pretty hard on the top and haven't had the issue since (and yes the fan still works!).

Excellent PSU for the money. Has a good CWT platform, is underrated as it is a 500W unit, and has no lacklustre components like the ill-fated CX430. The two PCI-E 6+2s are a welcome addition at this price range. Definite buy if you're into a low-end to mid-range build and not into overclocking except maybe bumping up the Mhz on the GPU.

Well-known brand, enough power for the GPU. Its non-modular but if you got some effort in managing the cables, it will be fine for any case.

Its a entry level power supply. Works good so far, but I'm planning to change to Corsair CX 550w or something.

from completed build My 1080p build

I had to buy cable extension because the cables is quite short. I use my washer drain pipe to cover the cables.

Kinda meh that's it's not modular but then again you can't expect much for a low-end PSU. It did it's job

from completed build Family Home PC

A PSU that is well suited for middle spec rigs and cheap.
