Well originally I chose the Western Digital Cavier and this was another headache... literally. My build was depressingly making a loud humming noise that at first I thought was the graphics card. After some sleuthing, and since I had my OS on the SSD I unplugged the hard drive and thank God again the noise went away.
I bought the Seagate on Amazon and day later it was prrrfect. Doens't make any noise at all.
Just a hard drive
My secondary drive on which I have my extensive collection of music, cinema, literature, and images as well as my own music recordings, visual artwork, and writing documents. I lost much of my work when my sole drive died in 2011, and I intend to not repeat the same mistake; most of the files on this are backed up to an external drive and the most important ones a second time to flash drives and/or cloud storage. This drive is a winner, with very speedy 7200rpm read/write speeds and a roomy 3TB storage capacity at under $100 - a great accompaniment to a smaller solid state drive.
Fast and great for a cheap HDD
Great price, great performance, great HDD
Good-quality and a large amount of storage.
It works, its cheap for the price to Mb comparison.
Solid 7200RPM 3TB HDD for the price. I bought because MicroCenter had these on sale. I was going to only but a 1TB HDD but then for a a little more money decided it was worth it to go with the 3TB. Has been running great so far.
