from completed build Ryzen 3600 & Radeon RX 5700

The primary features that I was looking for in a motherboard was the X570 chipset, so it will fully support the latest Ryzen CPUs, and on-board WiFi. As I will possibly vertically mount my graphics card in the future, I did not want a WiFi card in the PCI-e slot, nor use up one of the M.2 slots for a WiFi. I was seriously considering the MSI MPG x570 Carbon Pro WiFi to get the WiFi 6 capability, but as I won’t use SLI, the price didn’t seem worth it to me as I also don’t have a WiFi6 enabled router. All recent builds I have done for my friends and family have been with MSI boards. I’m really happy with them every time.

Happiness with purchase: 7/10 - If the Carbon Pro WiFi wasn’t out of stock, I likely would have bought it to future-proof for WiFi 6, although it would have been a bit of an unnecessary expense. I know I will be slightly regret this when I finally upgrade my router to WiFi6. That aside, the board is fantastic, and the overclocking features are very nice.

Fast and looks good. Why make a wifi X570 board without wifi6 though? Also, the cooling for the M.2 only works on NVMe drives, not the SATA III M.2's. Not really a terrible thing, just be aware. One other thing, I had to flash the BIOS to get the wifi to work. The PCIe benchmarks showed an increase of 81% bandwidth. Is it needed? Right now, probably not. But in the future, I assume so. Everything fit as expected on the board. The DRAM slots are very tight and required more pressure than most to click in the boards, but that is good.

More bells and whistles than I originally intended, but for an open box added to the clearance shelf at Microcenter for like $158 I couldn't beat it.

Great motherboard, pretty easy bios set up and had absolutely zero issues. Can be a little tricky navigating bios but it's whatever.

Maybe I couldve opted for a better option with the motherboard. The integrated realtek hd audio sound card gave me alot of problems with my hyperx cloud stinger, but the included wifi was around 2.5x better than the speeds I got on my laptop. Convenient for redownloading all those games!

The installation experience was a bit frustrating with the extended heatsinks and such, but maybe I should've just got a longer screwdriver and cables that weren't so bloody stiff.

was a bit difficult to screw into my case with the integrated io shield but other than that the wifi is nice, and m.2 heatsink is good

Awesome Motherboard. I just wanted something compatiable with the ryzen 3600 with not worrying about flashing the BIOs ( I was really nervous with dealing with that sort of stuff) so i just went with the X570 so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I had to update with bios (there was already 4 updates on their website when I had put mine together , and it was mainly for the memory) I had to adjust the Bios to recognize my 3200 ram because at first it only saw it as 2666. But updating the Bios, and adjusting the RAM was simple especially for the first time builder. Didn't really go heavy with the RGB, the only RGB on my whole build is on the board and the fans are just white.

Aesthetically pleasing, not too over the top, nice clean board. Decided to go with the x570 over a B450 to pair with my Ryzen 3700x and don't regret it. Only using M.2 as storage at the moment as it has 2 x M.2 slots, so currently using 1 smaller M.2 as a Window's boot drive (C) and 1 as storage. The inbuilt Wi-Fi is actually incredible, can't be wired upstairs so Wi-Fi was a must. Had a few driver issues when trying to update audio drivers, but just rolled it back and it fixed it.

I have no complaints, this board has been amazing! And the Bios did not need an update.
