Hi, Planning my first build, it's mainly going to be used for gaming (like football manager) and streaming, and I have a budget of £1,000, any feedback on the build would be appreciated.

Thanks, Squirrel.

My suggestions:

  • get a 500gb nvme ssd instead of the a400

  • get a 5700 instead of the 1660ti (or a 5700xt if you can afford it)

  • remove the cooler, as the 2700x comes with a good cooler.

  • get a case fan (or two) for the front

I like this part list a lot.

Has there been any reviews on the Mech yet? Seems like it has passed under the radar.

I couldn't find any, but MSI is a reputable manufacturer, and it looks like it will cool a lot better than the stock heatsink.

Oh it will, but the Sapphire Pulse will also cool much better than the stock cooler.

Considering MSI's screw-ups in the Evoke OC, I would be willing to pay $30 more for a brand that has never produced a bad AMD card.
