Inventions

Did you ever have an idea of an invention that you think would be nice to have or even change life as we know it?

I once had this idea of a snow plow that instead of just pushing snow around, would have coils that melt it, then a vacuum directly after the coils to pick up the water. I know it isn't very smart or possible. There would have to be a LOT of energy going through those coils creating a butt ton of heat to melt snow while travelling at 30+ mph. Way more energy than physically possible with current technology.

I wanted to invent a toothbrush that would put toothpaste through the bristles with a button press when I was a kid. Even made a mockup. Looks like it's been done since.

I really want someone to invent a pole that can grow to an almost infinite length. I wanna be able to take a rabbit to the moon damn it.

A veritably noble goal!

Perhaps if we could push home-rocketry beyond the atmosphere, we could have this done.

If Goku can do it I can do it.

I really wish that’s how life worked.

In that case...I have an idea for an invention that does everything. Just everything.

Since you asked, how about dual function billboards, solar power/advertising? Maybe I'm in the minority because I really don't like billboards, at least we could get some mitigation for the sight/site pollution.

oh maybe...something like under the advertisement instead of a metal backboard, just solar panels. So the ad is able to let sunlight through, but still allow the picture clearly.

Pretty much, obviously there's too much money in advertising for them to go away, so maybe we could get something useful out of them.

Maybe just put solar panels on already existing billboards and link them to electrical grids of nearby buildings?

Well, it seems the point is the solar is hidden; out of sight, out of mind thing. Not that billboards look too appealing to begin with, but no reason in making it worse.
