Can i ask? What is the normal usage for memory when idle?
mine is 3gb usage with nothing run.
Application running on backgroud (Auto)
- Logitech software for mouse
- a window 10 thingy
cpu is 1%, and gpu nothing.
might be the RAM acting as a cache
is it bad?
You can take a look at the processes that are running under Windows task manager.
There are a solid amount of Windows tasks that can run in the background that can eat RAM at idle. There are also settings in Kasperky that are like 'Adaptive threat scanning' where the program will run in the background and scan your files constantly to try to catch any viruses that may appear.
so my usage is not normal?
It's not abnormal, but you might have to turn some things off.
