I have a phanteks evolv atx tg, and I have been having problems with audio. There is no combo mic/audio jack on the front header or the motherboard for that matter, so I am not sure what to do. I bought something similar to this...

https://www.amazon.com/MillSO-3-5mm-Jack-Adapter-CTIA/dp/B071NDLCGC/ref=sr_1_12_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1547353332&sr=8-12-spons&keywords=audio+mic+combiner&psc=1&smid=A1VJX9TVQ0U51X

And it did not work no matter what I tried. I have a Maximus X Hero (Wifi AC) for a motherboard, and use the drivers that come from ASUS. Not sure what I could buy or do that would fix this issue

What’s your audio setup like? Have you gone into the sound settings and enabled your “playback” and “recording” devices? Are they set as the default device? Is your pc trying to use the monitors onboard speakers instead?
