Basically I just want it to last me a long time and be able to handle gaming and a bit of editing/programming, I'll eventually upgrade on the gpu in the future, when I have some money. I can't really go up any higher than the second link right now, but please point out if you see any serious flaws in either.

I suggest a i5 as the stats is almost the same if you are doing mor gaming. If you do more video editing I suggest you get a ryzlen 7 as it is bettering for rendering and multi tasking. Both are cheaper.

So go for the top link build?

Depending on what you will do more. If you are not doing much editing and rendering do the Intel (better for games) build or I you are do the ryzlen. (Better for multi taking and editing and rendering)
