There is an ASUS 200hz G-Sync 35" 3440 x 1440 panel coming out towards end of year: https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG35VQ/

But good luck driving recent AAA games with half decent settings at that sort of setting with GPU's out now.

I want them too. But they need reasonable prices... I can't go spending $800 on a monitor.

I ment something faster than just 100hz.. And something that atleast comes sent at 144. Not something that you have to take a "Chance" and hope it overclocks that fast..

100 and 144 is a pretty big difference (unlike 165 and 240)

actually, theres a 44 percent difference from 100 to 144 and a 45.45 percent difference from 165 to 244... So whatever point you are making is wrong...

I expect he's talking about what you can actually see and notice. We'll notice 100-144. But the jump to 165-240. Won't be as noticeable/impactful

Perception of refresh rate and fifth grade math are very different. People, on average, have a much easier time noticing the jump from 100 to 144hz than they do from 144/165 to 240hz monitors. Its the idea of diminishing returns.

when you put it like that, it makes much more sense lol. I was simply messing with you since the math was indeed so close and you never specified what you meant lol

Yeah personally anything above 120hz I see very little difference and see no difference at all above 144hz
