For sure.. Just keep in mind that 4 years can really change the performance considering the current FX-8XXX series is already 3 years old! I'd take a look and see if Devil's Canyon or Haswell family chips fit in your budget for Intel!

I love AMD but the gaming performance as far as longevity goes is better on Intel.

Well.. I was kind of exaggerating on the 4 years portion lol. Itll be more or less 2. Long enough to save up for my "Omega-Station" haha. I've heard and read good things about the updated version of the 8350. may take a look into that.
