PCPartPicker is supported through affiliate commissions from participating retailers. One of our founding principles is to help those in need by donating a portion of our earnings to charity. We do this because it is important to us.

When you purchase components through retailer links on PCPartPicker you're not only supporting this site, you're helping provide clean water and sanitation to people in need. 100% of donations to charity: water go directly to the field.

Thank you for being a part and helping make this happen!

As a PC Enthusiast and someone who studied BA Community Development, this is good news to see Pcpartpicker combining both my 2 passions and supporting communities in need.

People would never think that a site like PCPartPicker would donate to help people get safe clean drinking water.

Can I donate money directly to a project? LTC Eck

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 2 points 2 months ago

Absolutely! You can donate via their website: https://charitywater.org (We don't run a campaign on their site for our donations, though we may at some point in the future.)

daes0707 1 Build 2 points 2 months ago

We take it for granted - turn on the tap, clean water.

We forget about those that don't have such access.

Keep it going...next stop Completion Report #100.

h7d2n8 0 points 5 months ago

why don't you help poor americans first?

philip staff submitter 10 Builds 12 points 5 months ago

Because I believe people are people regardless of their nationality, race, religion, or color of skin. I prefer to give where there is the greatest need, and in most situations that is not the US.

We do donate to causes within the US as well.

Nationality doesn't exist in nature moron, it's a man made construct. People are people. Help where you can.

F3atherz 2 points 2 months ago

He just means what country they are from.
