Dream PC Upgrade
I recently finished building this PC. Everything turned out great. The only issue I had with the motherboard is that the one I chose happened to only have one fan header for case fans and one fan header for the CPU fan. This caused me to have to buy a fan head splitter to be able to run both case fans. Luckily this motherboard has multiple temperature sensors and chips to avoid overheating, and the headers support fans up to 24W (2Ax12V), meaning that the header could handle the extra wattage from both fans running on the splitter I purchased.
Coming from my really outdated monitor (1366x768 resolution, purchased in 2008), this one is crystal clear and comes with many options to keep your eyes from undergoing strain from looking at it for extended periods of time. One issue I had with the monitor is that even though it is in an HD resolution (1920x1080) it didn't have an HDMI input. I decided to go with DVI over VGA, as the graphics card in this build only has DVI and HDMI outputs (plus DVI is better anyways right?).
The keyboard and mouse are phenomenal, and the keyboard and case RGBs can be synced using Corsair's ICUE software. The mouse is Razer so it was incompatible but using Razer synapse allowed me to achieve basically the same affect. The keyboard RGBs are a bit dim compared to the case and the mouse, but that is a minor issue and one easily overlooked, compared to the price factor and quality.
In the future I hope to add liquid cooling, more case fans, and work on better cable management with this build.
Overall the components were great purchases and I am thoroughly happy with how beautifully this turned out looking with the RGBs. The Ryzen 1600 works great, the GTX 1060 is everything I could have dreamed of, and the 8 GB of ram is more than enough for what I want to do. I went from a simple ASUS M11BB desktop to this workhorse that can run most games at more than 100 FPS and I couldn't be more pleased.
-I used low lighting in images to get a better RGB effect-
Thanks for taking time to read this review, - Bradley
Amazing processor that can do anything I ask of it. Great purchase.
Good cooler with great RGBs. It seems to be really set up to use its own RGB controller, it would be nice if it made using a case RGB controller more accessible. The assembly was also somewhat confusing. Other than that great and suggested fan.
Great motherboard, that is a beast at running nearly anything you throw at it. Only issue is how small it is, but that is micro atx for ya. Suggest to purchase this board. The overclocking capabilities are great, and smartfan is a fantastic feature with great insights.
Great ram, just about all you could ask of ram. Might look into rgb ram next.
Fast HDD, runs great and well worth the purchase.
Great graphics card. Runs nearly any game I have personally thrown at it at over 100-120 FPS. Stays cool, and isn't so big it takes up the whole case. Only downside is that the fan must be on the bottom and takes away from the look because you have to look at the back with all the circuitry. Other than that it does what I ask of it!
Beautiful and great case. Cable management isn't the best, but the RGB's look great and every other component is just fantastic. The tempered glass is nice for showing the inside of your PC. I dislike the screws for the tempered glass as they require an alan wrench (included) but other than that its nice.
Works as a power supply should and is quality.
Wireless Network Adapter
Great wifi card, with bluetooth included. Provides fast gaming speeds and great bluetooth connection for speakers etc.
Crystal clear monitor with nice features to lessen eye strain. Only issue is that although it is a HD resolution, it doesn't come with HDMI inputs which is really what I was looking for. Can't complain at the price point though.
FANTASTIC keyboard for the price. RGBs are somewhat dim compared to my case and mouse but it still works great. Love being able to sync the lights with my case using Corsair's ICUE software.
Great feeling mouse with vibrant RGBs. No issues at all, and has just the right amount of buttons.
