Description

RTX Gaming PC build using a 1440p Acer 32" curved monitor no Freesync or G-Sync.

Spent just under $2000 CPU overclocked to 4.5gHz+ GPU slightly overclocked by 150mHz

Intel i7 9700k Corsair H100i Platinum AsRock Phantom Gaming 6 G. Skill Ripjaws 4x8GB @ 3200 mHz Intel 660p M.2 Silicon Power 2.5" 1TB SSD Gigabyte RTX 2080 in white NZXT H500i in white EVGA 750W 80+ gold semi modular

Was time to upgrade from a 5-6 yr old PC.

Old PC: Intel i7 4790k Air Cooler (dont remember what model) Asus H97 Pro Gamer G. Skill Ripjaws 2x8GB @ 1600 mHz Seagate Barracuda 1TB (slow as molasses) Zotac GTX 1070 ti AMP edition Case? No idea? Evga 650W

Minor Complaint: The AsRock Phantom Gaming 6 is giving me a Dr. Defrag number 30 and 40, meaning my RAM is installed incorrectly. Well its not, every program i run tells me all 4 DIMM slots are occupied and running @3200 mHz. I reset the CMOS and it was not reading any Defrag numbers until i put the PC to sleep and woke it back up. Same errors as before, cant figure it out but i dont think its of any actual concern but i guess only time will tell.

WOW what a beast. I am glad you went with an intel 660p series because at that price point they are a deal. Also, thanks for the userbenchmark benchmarks :)

Yeah that M.2 was a steal IMO, and it was a 1TB so i couldnt say no.

What did you do with your old build?

I still have it, just sitting here... might turn it into a streaming mini build.

Hi can you stream and play games on this pc? I’m had made a similar builds and I was wondering if it’s good enough to stream and play with no issues.

It can stream and play games and if you use Nvidia broadcaster and link your twitch with it there is next to no fps drop but when you are on Ultra @ 160 FPS it doesnt matter.

Thank you so much for a nice build, I've legit copied the exact same build, but the Tower is black same for the GPU.

I will share some pictures if you want once it turns on.

Did you do any FPS tests? and did you buy yourself a set of extra fans or are they included in the tower?

i tested BF V Ultra everything and ran pretty well (80-120 FPS), i did not buy extra fans.... there were 2 installed in the case already (1 top and 1 rear) and NZXT specifically have them as exhaust fans and none in the front bc their thought process was everyone is going to install a 240-280mm AIO anyway.
