Hey Guys Deaf here. I decided to upgrade from my prebuilt Alienware x51 r3 I spent a while looking up the best parts per dollar and trying to stay in the style of the build. I know I could’ve done better with cable management but eh, good enough imo.

Part Reviews

Amazing CPU for gaming, editing, streaming, recording, rendering. It can handle almost anything you throw at it.

CPU Cooler

Amazing cooler,
Amazing LEDs,

Idk if this is just me but the middle NZXT light is when at white is a little but red,
The main cable is flimsy and comes out easily.,
The lights turn off suddenly for no reason,
Cam is terrible,
The USB cable is bulky and is extremely noticeable,
When I first got it, it was wasn’t showing up at all in the bios,

All in all good cooler but the software is terrible and it has issues,

Thermal Compound

It’s good tooth paste

Not to thin Not to thicc

Amazing lights Wish it had more usb

Amazing Lights, but when I got it, it wasn’t showing up in aura. But after doing something that I forgot, it works, anyway good ram

Boots windows in 5 seconds But when I got it, it wasn’t showing up in the bios Not sure wether it is the ssd or motherboard

Video Card

I was going to get the SC GAMING Black, but it was out of stock, so I got this since it was on sale

And I do not regret my decision Gets way over 100 frames in almost any game The rgb is amazing

Amazing card But a little expensive unless you get it on sale

Good looking case, but the smart device is terrible So I decided to remove it and replace it with a hue+

Power Supply

It’s a good power supply Cables are good for stock

Operating System

If apple made a car would it have windows?

Case Fan

Good fans but because of the LEDs All of the fans face inwards

I’ve had this monitor for 2 years Hasn’t failed on me yet

Good keyboard, Good RGB, Don’t see why people don’t like razed keyboards,

Imo one of the best mice out there

Great LED Strips Cables are annoying

Great headphones But the current version on razed synapse 3 isn’t compatible So I need to use to versions of synapse

Just curious, what's with the taped over usb ports?

If it's just because your mobo doesn't have enough usb headers, maybe something like this would help? https://www.novatech.co.uk/products/nzxt-internal-usb-hub-with-dedicated-power/ac-iusbh-m1.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwyYHaBRDvARIsAHkAXctIUaOd7TcYM3SPm4K_HCS_fZghVFohxDoj3jTdf5e3v3fCCugN3p0aAk4QEALw_wcB#utm_source=google&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=products

Otherwise, nice build, very similar to my own :)

I’m too lazy to buy and cable manage extra usb 2.0 ports and I don’t usually plug in stuff to the top

DeafBoi submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

Might get one later along with custom RGB cables

NPC31 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

wait where are your intake fans

DeafBoi submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

All of them are unfortunately, I have to do it this way otherwise I wasted money on rgb fans

ugapeyton 1 point 2 months ago

jesus, how bad are the temps???

Why would you get a condenser mic? Its just a waste of money to buy one and leave it on your desk it picks up all the sound around it like a small bump to the desk or case fans get a mic stand for it.

DeafBoi submitter 1 Build 1 point 5 months ago

It’s a mic I’ve had for 2 and a half years, I bought it when I had no idea what was good tech, Which is also the reason for the Alienware I upgraded from. And it is a good mic still, and I am going to fix those issues by buying a mic stand arm, shock mount

Hope that answers your question

Nice build! The rgb setup is sweet. My brother uses the same keyboard and likes it quite a bit. What are the 2.0 ports covered for?

DeafBoi submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

I’m too lazy to get extra usb 2.0 ports

Nice build, well colour coordinated.

Sorry for asking but are you actually deaf?

-parzival- 1 point 5 days ago

Feel like it would be weird for them to have headphones if they're deaf.

rogdog56 1 point 4 days ago

Their username is "DeafBoi" and the name of the build is "Hearing Aid".

Also, you can use hearing aids and headphones at the same time.

-parzival- 1 point 4 days ago

I know that you can use hearing aids with headphones. I just thought you didn't look at the full parts list. It doesn't really matter anyway

-parzival- 1 point 3 days ago

besides we can both agree it looks amazing
