I built this PC for my friend who has gone all his life using year old laptops that played games at 10-20 fps, we both saved up our money for this, the graphics card was donated by his uncle and the hard drive we got off of eBay for 20$
Also i know cable management is horrible and i am a disgrace of the pc master race but daddy its only my first time making a PC so please excuse the bad cable management, also the case doesn't allow it :(
I had originally bought an asus board, but fans would turn on and everything but no display, and no it wasn't my graphics card or anything else the mobo was bad... so i had to wait a lot longer, also the issue was it was DDR3 and Pentium G4560 doesn't support it, it says DDR3L but to be honest DDR3L isn't worth just get DDR4.
If there is anything i made a mistake on please tell me
EDIT: We just got another stick of ram, i updated it in the part list, thanks for all the feedback
2nd EDIT: we might upgrade to an i5 7400 later on, the 2 cores has been very annoying lately, the games he plays will benefit from more cores (PUBG mainly) also we will try to get more ram
Gets the job done, 2 cores is limiting though but good for a budget cpu
I never thought ASRock as a very good brand but this motherboard surprised me with an M.2 slot making this good for future proofing, of course overclocking is out because of how cheap it was but it lost a star for no sticker very disappointing :/
4gb is good for now, but 4gb is extremely limiting i will be buying another stick when i have the money, but for the price this is good
I got it for free from my friends uncle, doesn't surpass a 1050 ti but it also doesn't feel budget, stays cool and very quiet
The case is of course old design, its cheaply made i didn't even bother with the psu thinking it would explode after a month, no hole in the back to access the bottom of the cpu socket for after market cooler, and ZERO cable management potential, good for a budget though
500 watt came with an 8 pin than can be turned into a 6 pin and another 6 pin for graphics card, and the feel of the materials feels VERY high quality i'm sure this power supply will hold up very well i love it.
