Update... loving this build i recently updated the mobo bios and now have my gskills 4 series 3000mhz ram oc to 3200mhz at stock cas speeds of 15, 16, 16, 16 and 35 at 1.35volts..also just overclocked the cpu to 3600mhz at 1.2volts. i ran a prime95 test and settled at 77celcius with the stock cooler. i think im going to leave the cpu where its at for now until i upgrade the cooling system, but i have high hopes for it when the time comes. so far so good but i made these changes today so if they turn out to be unstable i will update this post. The case isnt the best for the price its pretty good imo. the acrylic kinda sux tho. mt son scratched it up a lil bit but you really have to look at it to even notice but i do wish i had gotten a tempered glass case. it would of looked alot sweeter. that said it was easy to build in, very solid and well built imo nd cable management was actually alot easier then i thought it would be. i give credit to the case in this re guard. had some issiues with the mobo such as aura sync/lighting app wouldnt work and my ram at first would only run at 2133mhz. after i updated the bios tho everything works and seems to be working damn well in fact. i really like my monitor but its only 75mhz and i recntly found a 144mhz for only 180ish dollars so i do kinda wish i had looked around a little more but this is a pretty sexy curved monitor plus its whit which fits my builds theme so i am happy with it aesthetically speaking. i will however upgrade the monitor when i upgrade my graphics card and designate this one as a secondary monitor. that saiod with my 1050ti gpu and my monitor overclocked to 83mhz they are performing well together so i am happy with it for now. the gpu im a little finicky about. the card draw power thru the pcie slot so oc is very limited i believe. i knew that going in tho and this was the cheapest i could find at the time of purchase so i cant really complain about that. i did get it oc to +150core and +250mem but if i go up any higher on the memory clock the fps drops down 7-10fps during unigine heaven benchmark which is weird. what i seen on the youtube guides was if you oc to high it would crash and the screen would black out. i cant find anything online about why the fps would go from 70+ on ultra settings to less then 10 all of a sudden so i have no idea why it does this. also i seen some posts from other ppl claiming they got +150core and +650-1000memory so i am a little concerned. did i get a bad card or are these other ppl exaggerating/lying about theres. that said tho even at the base speeds im quite happy with the performance in the games ive played so far like Doom, Battlefield1, Fortnite, Runescape3. Anyways thanks for reading and take care..also good luck with yor own builds :)
amd ryzen all the way.. i love this cpu :)
very cool sleek looking board even though its not slammed with rgb's. after bios update it now pairs extremely well with my ryzen 5 1600 cpu and my gskills 4 series 3000mhz ram. ram is oc to 3200mhz at 1.35volts and the cpu is 3600mhz at 1.23volts. this board is pretty easy to oc with although i would suggest you do a manual oc the tpu settings arent very good imo. tpu1 which is what you use if you have air cooling, applied way too much voltage and my cpu was at 91celcius within 5mins of prime95. that said if i can do it you can too just do a little research on it like i did and you can do it:) great board will def be buying asus again in the future.
damn good ram imo...if you're doing a ryzen build you should def consider this ram option. i currently have mine overclocked to 3200mhz at 1.35volts and stable. what more can you ask for, trusted brand name, fast speeds, and pairs up nicely with the ryzen cpu..o ya!
i was a bit skeptical getting this drive i had nvr heard of em before but really glad that i did. its quiet for one, i only hear it at start up and only for a second but its not very loud at all. its pretty darn fast too from power to windows screen its roughly 28sec's so im super happy with that, especially compared to my old mechanical drive in my last pc. it really sucked, super slow and really noisy too. imo great drive for the price 1tb of storage for 70bucks and no its not ssd speeds but i think it's fairly comparable, def a decent upgrade from the old mechanicals. i honestly think anyone coyuld benefit from these wheter you are on a budget an cant afford an ssd or even if you can get an ssd this would make a very nice pairing with an ssd for extra storage.
ya i just wish i had got something better this was cheapest the time of purchase so got it but now i regret tbh. i should of got a 1060 6gb an been done with it now im saving up for an upgrade :( +150core +250memory is my oc and compared to what ive seen online thats pretty low for thre memory and when i push it any higher my fps just drops from 70+ on ultra setting to less then 10fps...wtf! idk if i got a bad card or what but i prolly wont be buying any of these types of cards from msi again. no matter what the size if its this brand im not purchasing
Pros: looks great, easy to build in, good cable management, psu shroud, cool ssd slots to show them off in the front, decent acrylic window to show off your new build, open interior for good airflow, enough room for a full sized graphics card, good liquid cooling options
Cons: acrylic not glass window but thats what youll get most cases in this price range so if you want tempered glass make sure the description says tempered glass and be prepared to pay a lil bit more:(, only 1 case fan comes preinstalled which really bummed me out i mean cmon deepcool your damn case is literally called deepcool. to me that says hey im a cool case and not just cool looking. it does have plent of room for alot more fans tho, i think it holds either 2 120mm fans in the front or 1 140mm and also on the top can go 2 either 120mm or 140mm fans if you dont install liquid cooling that is.no rubber grommets, my case did not come with instructions, and last but not least there are basically no filters on this case at all. the front kinda has some filtering but thats just cause the holse in the metal are almsot microscopic but im not sure if thats actually intended to be for filtering.
Opinion: i personally like this case and would recommend it. most of the cons are things that youll have to pay alot more to get and almost all of the pros are things you just cant find in this price range. i think i read somewhere that deepcool was at the top of the top for cases in this price range and i can believe that.
ok ok first things first i chose this psu with very limited information. i did look at some reviews so i knew that it was an extremely well made quality psu. arguably one of the best psu's on the market and i didnt want to cheap out on this part of the build so i went with this. that said i didnt get a high enough wattage:( i was planning to oc down the road but this is not gonna be enough juice to comfortably oc everything especially since the ryzen cpu's are pretty power hungry little monsters. i could prolly get away with oc the cpu,ram and gpu because these are very good psu's but id be pushing it so for now ill just be oc the gpu and the ram once i get the issue there fixed. the cpu i might oc once i upgrade to the 650/750 evga g3 model, maybe. so all that said this is a great psu for anyone, the enthusiast thats gonna oc, the reg guy thats just gonna run stock and the guy like me thats just gonna do some light oc but if you really wanna push your system get g3 650/750 and youll be set for years to come. o an did i mention that this was a pleasure to build with even as a first timer, gotta love a full modular psu man. it really makes installation easy to manage for all lvls of builders.
its lg so should be a quality product but it does get a little loud when loading something up. besides the noise it does its job well and its lg so i like it.
good stuff i really like windows10 easy to install and works fine so far
sweet looking white curved monitor,75mhz refresh rate, 4ms, so far I like the picture rs3 looks really good on it only game ive tried out so far tho..might be a little pricey but it was white which matched my build nicely and curved o and i got mine from amazon for 149.99 just thought id mention that cause last time i was on here it was 179.99
