Description

This is a build i put together for my girlfriend. She just started her masters degree and needed a system for school and a little bit of light gaming. She loved the 350D but i had a full ATX board already so i made a few adjustments to the case. First i had to cut the motherboard tray to make the full atx board fit, then i found a perfect mounting spot for the PSU at the front intake.

Very cool mod work! I don't think I've ever seen a PSU mounted like that. Did you have the 670 already?

I did have the 670, i only had to grab a few parts to put this together. I had to buy the PSU processor and case to get it completed.

I just got some cheap led's from Amazon and soldered them to a molex. The GPU does not sag the the gaming performance on this one is great, i haven't found a game it cant run at 60 fps on the highest settings, aside from games that arent very well optimized like Crysis 3 that can hit 60 fps on my 3xover clovked 780 build.

I was thinking the same thing - my main gaming computer has a 670 and handles everything fine!

Because most people wouldn't consider 3570k and 670 "overkill" for 1080p gaming on settings that don't look horrid.

Also, alot of these parts were re-used from old builds and extra things i had laying around. So why throw it in and get it used?
