My first post about a pc gamer here in pc part picker, so, i built this pc for a multi-propurse system with the components i need, not the components i desire.
I mainly focus on Video Editing (Davinci Resolve, After Effects), engineering software(Solidworks, AutoCad, altium), and some gaming in 1080p 60fps(Some Fallout 4, RS6, GTAV and PUBG), so i think this can handle everything i need on a really budget price.
I didn't had problems with bios update using the second generation ryzen, i didn't need to update the motherboard, if that concerns you with this kind of motherboard and processor configuration.
The building of this machine was dificult, this was my first time building a itx system, i had to remove the power suppy a copule of times in order to place the radiator, and the motherboard once because it was getting in the way of one cable.
The tip i want to give is that you have to be careful with the power cable for the leds on this case, in my opinion is too short, when i closed down the top panel in the case the cable got pulled, that end up breaking the power conector in the pcb, i was lucky in finding the connector and resoldering again.
Now, lets talk about temps, and im not using an ideal graphics card for this system, the recomended graphics card are those of "blower style" like the 10 series founders edition, or the turbo series in ASUS, because the fans will have limited airflow, in case of using a graphics card like the one im using right now, i did't have any issue with the temps, but you will have problems with a high tier grpahics card.
And about the cpu cooling, it's highly recomended using a AIO cooler like the h60 or the h80i, i highly recomend going for the h80i option, in case you have a intel system, in case you have a ryzen system, you will have to find an adapter in order to use the h80i in this stocket, so that's why i went with the h60 option, and the temps are really good, and the noise it's not noticeable.
I do not recoment using cpu air cooling, i tried to use ryzen stock wraith steath cooler and the temps were really bad, the limited airflow in this case just don't help any type of aircooling.
Finally i have to say that this pc looks gorgeous, and it performs decently, phanteks even says that it is not a high performance case, it is more of "looks" case, and they are ******* right, im not an expert, i am a amateur in this, any tips or hacks on this case will be highly appreciated.
I have a build log in my yt channel if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-1zdSLSnq8
