I originally built this pc as my old pc was starting to give me trouble. It is meant to be used mainly for gaming and general internet browsing. It was fairly easy to build and went without any issues and worked straight away. I only had a few issues with drivers but they were fixed pretty easily. It very quiet and can't hear it over ambient. The noiseiest thhing is my magnetic hard drive. It is 29 decibels when idle and 35 when under load.
The i5-8400 is a great cpu if you don't overclock. the reason why i chose this was over a ryzen 2600 was because i wouldn't benifit from the ezxtra cores and didn't want to wait for the second gen ryzen mother boards or update the olderr gen ones. The cpu holdds up great and is very quick and doesn't botttleneck my gpu. It is a great bang for your buck.
The hyper212x was the same price as the evo so chose the x. The installation was quite difficult and required a lot of force . It keeps the temps very cool as it is a bit overkill. It is barely audiable.
It was a budget motheroard but hasn't given me many issues. It has an orange accent Led which is easy o turn off. It has a decent amount of fan headers. The bios is easy to use and the auto fan curves are good.
Hasn't given me any issues and fairly fast. Gott 16gb as it was on offer.
Not the fastest ssd but it is quite cheap. Boots up fast.
Really fast and quite cheap per gb. Good for storing all the games and media
I like the colour and it has fan stop so when idling the pc is quite. The fans keep it very cool and allows me to get 108060fps Max setttings on all games.
The case is very nice looking. The default fans are quite good and quiet. The cable management is very easy to use and the gromits give a clean look. The default fans are nice
Good psu but still have a lot of extra cable. I would advise getting fully modular. Although it is quiet.
