Just finished my second build I have wanted this for a long time! Just need to finish a little more cable management and she’s pretty much done.
Holy mother of god. Where do you get the money for all of this!
Woah cool build +1
Ok, so who doesn't like an over the top build... lol Would love to see inside the case as well.
That monitor :o
RTX 2080Ti is great for 4K gaming and all with a super 4k monitor you got, I don't see a reason not to get it for this top gear..
Part list says the 2080 8gb founders edition is used, not the 2080ti.
The pictures do not show the package so we do not know actually :D
Beautiful +1. This is the third build I've seen on here with the evolv X case. Great stuff!
Is nice motherboard worth it
awesome build it looks great 1 rep
how you install 5 case fans? which header you use? cause some told me this mobo only support 3 case fan. haha im waiting for my mobo so im worried 5 case fan wont work.
Just add a fan splitter or hub :) no problem. Most fans are 0.2A per and the fan header on motherboard typical 1.0A so technically up to 5 fans on 1 header. But I wouldn't do more than 3-4 on a single header.
ok cause im planning to use 3 nzxt aer 120 and 2 noctua 140. splitter and hub will be ok for both rite? what are you using on yours hub or splitter?
So on my build I have 3 corsair LL 120 fans and 2 corsair ML 140 fans.
I used a 4 fan hub from deepcool on amazon. $8.99 USD. The other 2 fans were connected to my aio pump.
I'm not sure what motherboard you are using, but I'm sure you probably have 2 fan headers. So if you have 5 fans you could use the 4 fan hub and 1 to your other hub.
im buying the same mobo as yours. so your deepcool fan hub you connect to 1 of the fan header rite? also i was planning to get the noctua y splitter. it will work to rite?
It probably does. I'm not familiar with the noctua y splitter. I looked it up, it looks like just a normal splitter for 2 fans on 1 header.
Yeah I put the deepcool fan hub to 1 fan header on motherboard, then fans plug directly in the header
If you want them all on 1 fan hub, they make higher count ones but may rely on molex power etc from the power supply
The evolv x actually had a pre installed fan header. I run 6 fans in their total
could have gotten the 1080ti instead of 2080 for around the same price, but more performance
The 1080 ti doesn’t have the same performance. It also doesn’t have ray tracing. I’m eventually adding a second 2080.
What are your CPU temp.

It's only a 200$ price difference and he gets RTX in games. Depending on what he's playing id say its worth it.
Yeah I’m well over $1600 into this build most my parts are so new they don’t even register. My monitor was $1500 and the gpu was almost 900. There is no way a i5 and 1080 Is better than a i7 and 2080.
that monitor is sexy as hellllll
Yeah I want that monitor. How is it for gaming? Do games properly support it?
Most games work great on it. Only game I’ve had an issue with is overwatch.
How do you like the keyboard?
Love it would consider switching back to a bigger full size eventually.
Do you like Corsair?
Love their products.
How do you like that mouse? Is is worth it for the money?
Love it. Wouldn’t switch for anything.
Great looking build! I can't find an Evolv X anywhere and it's preventing me from starting.
Would a 280mm AIO fit up top in your configuration? Or does it only support 2x120mm rads?
WAIT FOR THE X. It’s worth the wait. And it will support a 280 up top. I did 120s as I pulled it off my last build. I’ll eventually add either a second system up top and add a 140 on the back and a 360 on the front. Or just do one custom loop.
It finally just came in stock at newegg. Ordered the satin black--super excited!
I’ll never use Newegg again after the issues I had getting this case from them.
Hey could you share how your experience is with the monitor? I just ordered the monitor myself, and was planning on swapping out my XFX R9 290 card with a 2080/2080ti. Since its a FreeSync monitor I wanted to know if you've been experience any tearing or other problems, I'd rather avoid getting another AMD card lol
I love the monitor and it pairs quite nice with my new 2080. I’m thinking of swapping when the 2k version comes out.
Hey sorry for late response! I LOVE this monitor. I’ve had zero issues with tearing so far. They are releasing a 1440 version of this monitor soon!
Gotta ask...I'm planning on using this case myself, but I have a couple of questions;
How are the airflow and cable management in this case? I'm a beginner and I want an easy-ish experience.
Where would one put the Hard Drives in this case? I don't see a drive slot in the front.
Sorry for late reply. I’m on my 5th or 6th build, this was by far the easiest case to build in. The cable management is all hidden behind doors in the back of the case that open and close. The same doors house my ssds, as well as hide my hdds. I believe you can actually have a ridiculous 20 or so hard drives + ssds. The back door alone supports 6 ssds. You can mount 10 or so hard drives in the front of the case it comes with moveable brackets. I chose to mount them in back unseen.
How are you liking the keyboard?

Not the first rtx build on pcpp, but one of the coolest.
Negative ghost rider
Swapped it out last minute sorry.
I hope haha!
It’s worth it!
No don’t do it the phanteks evolv X hides all of your cable management. It has two metal guards
