Description

No issues with this build, I use for 1440p gaming on an ultrawide monitor as well as some light workloads, I don't game a lot and some games hit 60+ FPS, however its definitely better for 1080p if you insist on 60+ FPS for most modern titles. Works ok for 1440p Ultrawide but could definitely benefit from a better GPU to hit higher FPS. Any comments welcome on how you would improve the build. This is my first attempt at building a PC so be gentle :)

Part Reviews

Case

This is a great product and I am extremely happy with the aesthetics. Cable management is relatively easy in this case, however the down side is that when you start adding RGB controllers like the one that comes with corsair LL series fans you start to notice the limited space for things. Another cable management issue is the PSU sits quite close to the hard drive cage and this also made cable management difficult. This may be down to the PSU I'm using but in any case I felt it was worth a mention. Negatives aside, the case looks very minimalist and clean which is perfect in my opinion. It has a small led at the front of the case that lightly shines below the front panel, looks ok but I hardly notice it. For the price, this case is definitely worth it for a budget to mid build.

Custom

Very happy with these cable extensions, they look nice and clean in my build. 5 stars based cost alone. You could potentially spend a £100 on a set of cable mods. Cant say I ever have done that but how much better can they be. I'll be finding out at some point in the future and may update this post if this is utter bull.

Nice! I think you nailed it. Everything looks great, and then think about upgrading the GPU in the next few months since you have that huge *** monitor :) Enjoy!

Hi, and thank you.

Sorry I'm not sure I know what you mean. If you are referring to the white motherboard and GPU cables they are cable extensions. Cable extensions connect to the power supplies existing cables and come pre sleeved. The ones in my build are Uphere cable extensions and come with the black cable combes that keep the cabling nice and neat. See the link below. Hope this helps.
