I have been using the actual hardware for the PC for a bit now(Which is why it seems outdated). What's new is the water cooling added to the PC. I have always wanted to water cool my PC but never had the real balls to do it. The cost of it always deterred me away and being afraid of leakage shorting the whole PC.
What made me finally take the leap was my GF. She was constantly pushing me to build this build when I told her I had always wanted to do it. Every other week, I would hear "When are you going to start building? Did you buy the pieces yet?". After hearing this for awhile I said **** it, I am going to do this thing under 1 condition. That she will help me build this thing, she agreed(Note: She is not very techy, nor has she ever built a basic pc).
After countless amount of research, I was going to order soft tubing because it seemed like the best idea for our first build. My gf disagreed because hard tubing looked aesthetically better. I ordered all the parts and it took us about 2 days to build the whole rig(She did ALL of the bending).
We ran into some difficulties with certain bends and not having the correct fittings(Thank You Amazon for 1 day shipping). We also fought a little bit out of frustration(whats a relationship without fighting), when we ran into problems but we worked through them.
Hope y'all enjoy our first water cool build.
