Description

This is a beatiful build, compact and powerful, yet overclocking not advised for demanding loads, as it will reach the tipping point.

I replaced the Corsair fans with the Noctua ones.

Also I mirrored the two 2TB nvme into a mirrored raid using windows storage spaces.

How tight of a fit was it to get an I9-9980XE and a RTX Titan into that case? Good job on it however you managed it.

Thanks, the trickiest part was the cooler, as you need to insert it with an inclination of one side, then once that side is in, you push the other side.

The case helped a lot as it has flexible rails to install the motherboard and the radiator, and I did make use of that during the installation.

What are the thermals because even with noctua fans it must be burning in there. You should build a custom loop next.

When I put it under a load that utilizes the full CPU capacity, with OC, it did hit 100+°C

As for the GPU, it did hit thermal throttling on blender after 85°C.

But for gaming and normal work (I don't do rendering), the thremals are ok.

I know this build can do with a roomier case and better cooling, but the appeal of an SFF build was too much to resist.

Really curious how this performs in Star Citizen.

Random question: with a 280mm you can't fit any fans to exhaust from the rear can you?

Damn, I should've seen this before...ordering a bigger case :( Now I have to rethink my entire system.

Did you need a BIOS update to support that CPU?
