Description

I use this mainly for playing games like Battlefield 1, 4, and Titan Fall 2. It runs most games at or above 60 fps ant 1080 - 2570(ultra wide). Cheap gaming set up with no sacrifices for comfort or FPS.

Part Reviews

CPU

It works amazingly. the only downside is that it has the loudest CPU fan ever so i had to buy the 212 evo to keep the noise down. I run it at a clock of 4.6 GHz with no voltage increase. the temps stay under 42 C and never hotter. It is one of the best bang for your buck CPUs you could buy.

CPU Cooler

Keeps my CPU cool and quiet. the only down side is the fan is a little wobbly and vibrates making some noise. it is one of the best CPU coolers for the price and installation wasn't too hard because the instructions explained every thing.

Motherboard

The price was cheap but it was not made cheaply. The design and coolers look amazing. the only down side is the placement of the USB 3.0 headers. It can handle overclocking and has amazing power phases. It has probably the best I/O for a board with that price.

Video Card

The best looking graphics card ever. Not only dose it look good it is super fast running at 1.5 GHz almost 500 MHz over the base. The large cooler keeps it under 60 C. The software is amazing and works perfectly for overclocking and the RGB settings. The fans are so quiet i never hear them. It had by far the best boxing out of all the parts i bought.

Case

looks good and has dust filters. The only down side is the side panel clear plastic is low quality and would break if something fell over on it.

Power Supply

Works nice and is a nice price. I wish it had better cables because it has relay long cables with many connectors on them so for a clean build it will not work too well. but has plenty of cables that comes with it.

Operating System

got it $60 off with DOOM for free with it so it was a win win win situation being almost as cheap as windows 10 home with a free game.

Monitor

the best 29" ultra wide monitor for around $200. the coolers are nice and spot on. also the girding is thin so it is hard to see. only down side is that the gloss plastic base got all scratched up.

Keyboard

works good but is not actually 16.8M RGB and the drivers are bad

Mouse

drivers are nice and works good for gaming. fits the hand nice and the extra finger buttons i think are better then thumb buttons.

That GTX 970 is amazing, I have two of those in SLI with and FX 8370 and gameplay is awesome. I suggest getting another.

I would if the price didn't go back up to $350 and my board doesn't support SLI, and I have added more pictures

This build is really nice and I know it plays very well. Best looking 970 made! They are certainly getting pricey again. Even with the whole 3.5/.5 gig mem-gate issue they rock. Haven't had the memory cause an issue yet on mine even though lots of people will say its a problem and junk them. Very nice wire taming too.

i have not had any problems with the slower .5 GB even when in games like titan fall 2 when it is using 3.4-4 when it goes over 3.5 the fps dose not drop and no studering.

yeah, they corrected the concern with drivers. I was able to pick mine up for a good deal when the scandal was hitting but since they fixed it with drivers the prices went back up.
