Description

First build coming from console my whole life. All the homies were on PC so figured it was time to make the switch. Mainly for streaming / playing R6 Siege. Wanted to keep everything cool so I invested in 2 intake / 2 exhaust fans, not including the front rad.

Part Reviews

CPU

Handles everything I throw at it with ease. Streaming, gaming, playing music, using Discord all at the same time is all good with this.

Motherboard

Minimal and has everything I wanted in a MOBO. Plenty of fan headers, 4 dimm slots for memory expansion later, and most importantly - 2 M.2 slots. Also cheap, what can I say?

Memory

Nice and minimal design. My only issue is trying to get this thing to go at the advertised 3000 speed. Someone please enlighten me!

Edit:: I got it to 3000MHz. Silly me - I populated the wrong dimm slots.

Storage

Quick boot drive. Loads Windows faster than i can grab a drink. The best part - no wires.

Storage

I only wish I had bought one with more storage!

Video Card

Plays Siege 1080p Ultra easily, although I personally use Medium / Low settings anyway. Going to upgrade to a 100+ Hz 1440p monitor soon. We'll see how that goes.

Case

Roomier than I thought. Cable management is a breeze even with my zero experience in building computers. Potential for sooo much airflow.

Power Supply

Nice, quiet PSU. Mostly modular. Great buy.

Keyboard

Splash-proof, feels bombproof / super sturdy. Love it so far.

Mouse

Great entry level mouse for beginners like myself and you can't beat that price. The only RGB thing I own.

Hello

Have you tested thermals? When your gpu is running 100% while gaming, what kind of temps do you get for gpu?

Looks great.

Hi there and thanks. As far as thermals, my GPU doesn't exceed 77 degrees C. But that is on the highest settings on Siege. Siege isn't the most demanding game out there. I'm also in an air conditioned room if that matters lol.

i dont see why you would waste money on an nvme wd black over just a normal sata unless you bought it on a sale
