New PC using AMD’s newest parts. First build in 4 years. Great upgrade from my last PC (FX 8350 with R9 290).

Love your build man +1 and that GPU is by far my favourite, looks wise. Very solid choice of hardware the only thing i never do is put water in to a such a nice machine, air - all day, every day.

Thanks so much! Any reason why you don’t put water in your systems? I mostly did it for the looks LOL

First and most important reason, water and electricity - not a good combo; i don't care what anybody says. Second The best tower heatsinks get very close to performing as good as an aio, some are even a little bit better, for example noctua's NH-D15. Custom loops are a different animal. Third longevity and practicality. Once the heatsink is installed, there are very few points of failure. Theoretically you can have a heatsink for ten years with very little maintenance. I run all my machines overclocked and 24/7, so again, as i said air-all day every day.

Nice build! How are the chipset temperatures? Isn't the gpu blocking the chipset fan? Was considering that mb+gpu combo but scared it will run too hot

Gpu doesn’t block the chipset fan at all. The fan was a little loud but I updated the bios and set it to silent and now I never hear it but everything runs cool.

What temperature do you get with this build? I’m building a really similar one with the same cpu cooler, case, gpu, cpu.

How is the screen? Have you tried any other 1440p 144hz screens?

  • 1 point

It’s my first 1440p 144hz screen. To me it looks really amazing! Especially compared to the 1080p 60hz I used in the past.

Does that liquid cooler block a ram slot in the photo it looks very close? Also how are the temps?

  • 1 point

It’s close but I can get the ram into the first slot no issue. Temps are really good and the system runs silent. Don’t have exact numbers but have not had any of the issues others have even having with Ryzen and Navi idle temps.

Hey what are your thoughts on the LG monitor? Did you have any issues with it or does it work well across the board? I'm interested in getting it for my own build but I've heard horror stories about LG's customer service. Very nice build, btw!

Your gpu is sagging with that h500?If so are you going to install a gpu bracket?

  • 1 point

I want to make my setup with FD Meshify C but H500 looking awesome. So i have a question for you; Do you have any temperature issue on this build?

Because i read too much comparison about these cases. In the end Meshify C have better airflow, H500 looks better. If you haven't any issue in full performance, i want to go with H500. (I try to find good balance between appearance and performance. I will make this for gaming so i don't want to stuck for reason of heat)
