Description

I decided to cancel my order with a custom PC builder and build two PCs for both my wife and I for around the same cost.

I knew she wanted a white case so I used a DIYPC S-280W which is now available to look at on this site!

I tried to go with a white and blue theme obviously for this build, and the main reason for the building for playing ARK Survival Evolved. (Which it does just fine at med-high settings).

For being the first time I was very excited when the bios came up! Thanks DIYPC for helping me get the list together. I also used the GTX 950 because it was in my 8 year old Dell PC that I tried to upgrade last year.

Overall a nice build!+1 Now to finish off the mothers day you just need to figure out how she can have the full day to game her heart out! Have the kids make her Breakfast / Lunch.

When my brother and I were little, we never did this, for the sole reason that there was a 99% chance we'd burn the house down. So flowers and her favorite candy it was!

Nice except the CPU is bit low performance. I recomend going with a i3. Also do have any other storage besides that SSD? If not then you might want to get one.

No additional storage, but definitely will be adding a HDD soon.

I would not sweat that FX6300 too much, it is about $40 cheaper then the i3's and out preforms them when you factor in cost per performance.

Just ARK Survival Evolved so far no other game has her interest. I haven't had enough time in on the machine to let you know if it even plays that game well. I'll try and update you soon!

http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16811353089 Couldn't find it in the part directory sorry about that. Definitely a budget case with hardly any instruction, made it a tad difficult for my first build.

I was almost worried when I saw this DYIpc came with a PSU, then I saw the EVGA in the parts list. Nice save. :D

Nope not this one, if it was supposed to I didn't receive a PSU. No loss.

I plan on using the same case for my build, I was wondering what the wattage is for the 3 fans in the case, do you know what it is?

Nice! better than my first build in perf/dollar, but that 6300 has some low single core perf. Overall great build for the price!
