650 € AMD budget build. My first build, currently using it as my main PC for programming and playing some games. My objective was to get the best value while keeping it usable and future-proof. The build was easy and I didn't encounter any problems, though I would add some additional fans as the case only comes with one.

Part Reviews

Very good CPU at a very competitive price. The extra cores and threads are very helpful if you are running a virtual machine.

Good board, though I have not tried overclocking. The port selection is complete and the VRM heatsink is substantial.

The kit works as intended. Running at the rated speed.

Not the fastest SSD but it does the job.

Video Card

The best RX 580 on the market. Pre-overclocked to 1411 MHZ but I got mine to 1430 MHZ. Ran everything that I tried (at high or very high settings) at more than 60 fps.

It feels very good and premium with the tempered glass panel and cable management was very easy. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the airflow is terrible and it only comes with one fan. Not a problem with a low power build like mine, but keep in mind that it can get very toasty.

Power Supply

Good power supply. A little bit on the expensive side though.

Wireless Network Adapter

It works great if your computer is near the access point, but if placed behind a wall it becomes very sensitive to the position of the antennae. Drivers are outdated and impossible to get working on linux. It works, but I'd buy something else if you were planning on using it regularly.

Incredibly tidy and excellent performance for the price.

Very well done.
