My new 2019 rig, decent upgrade coming from an i7-4770K and Vega 56! Absolutely love the white and RGB.
Did you flip the fans, or does the H100i blow air out of the front of the case?
Fans are in a pull config. I am debating buying another 2x LL120s though and going push/pull on the rad instead. Feel the temps could be improved, idle ~40c but load is good 60c. But it's hard to gauge when Ryzen is still buggy with idle voltages fluctuating ~1.4v
Love the look of the build and the part choices for the most part, but I gotta say I would've sprung for a 3600Mhz CL16 kit and probably a different SSD too, you can definitely get better bang for your buck there.
MP510 is the cheapest M.2 for the performance that I know of? What would you have gone for? 970 Evo and WD Black are much more expensive for some synthetic benchmark improvements.
RAM wise, I was debating the 3600Mhz but it was another £60-70 and looking at 3200 vs 3600 benchmarks, it was a 3-5 FPS gain at most...
I would've gone for the ADATA XPG 8200, it gives consistently faster load and download times and is usually only 10$-20$ dollars more expensive (proof: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/adata-xpg-sx8200-pro-ssd,5955-2.html). The MP510 is definitely a better choice than I originally gave it credit for though. As for the RAM, if you want to stick with full white and RGB then ig it is that much more expensive. My bad.
Either way I love the build. It's super pretty and still smokes my PS4 Pro for sure haha.
white custom cables with cable combs would look amazing in this build.
Yes! I'm planning on this later down the line, it's another £60-70 though for the white custom cables and comb kit though. So settled on the white PSU for now :p
How's the motherboard? I've been looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600X and have been looking at motherboards as well.
Runs just like a good motherboard should lol, runs perfectly!
Super clean! Do you feel upgrading from the Vega 56 to the 2070S makes a significant difference?
Ok thats actually so sick!
Awesome build! Glad to see the 3 fan rtx cards with a front rad fit with ease, in case you didn't know there are rgb kits that corsair makes to fit the two memory slots you have open. Purely aesthetic and provide no memory, but they are only around $40 on amazon and link up with corsair cue software. Recommend giving them a look, otherwise amazing build.
Hi I'm going to build your setup and I liked it very much but I have to know why the single fan at the back that you bought isn't RGP working?
White looks awesome
